Questioning Maisie on this matter made her quite hostile, although she did let slip that her claim had been somewhat successful before being taken from her by "monsters". Running towards the approaching rat monster, Gwin deftly draws and throws a dart into the face of the creature, narrowly missing an eye and clearly hurting the beast, which snarls with rage.  Taelo fires a Guiding Bolt spell at the creature, severely harming the monster, which is then finished off by an arrow to the face from Sage.
